Officials have not yet released the name of the suspect who allegedly shot Fayette County Deputy Calvin “C.J.” Lehmann in the face at the Carter Motel in La Grange on Thursday afternoon, Nov. 1.
Update Nov. 2, 10 a.m.: The Fayette County Sheriff's Office identified the deputy shot in the incident last night, Nov. 1, at the Carter Motel in La Grange as Calvin "C.J." Lehmann. Lt. David Beyer of the Sheriff's Office said Lehmann was shot in the face and lost sight in one eye.
