A La Grange man is facing a charge of misdemeanor criminal trespassing after allegedly wandering into the wrong house while intoxicated early Sunday morning, Aug. 28.

La Grange Volunteer Fire Department fought three suspicious structure fires on Saturday, Sept. 10. All three involved vacant or abandoned homes, including a home for sale on Country Club drive where firefighters found signs of forced entry when they arrived.

Fayette County Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace Tommy Tipton announced his immediate retirement from office on Monday, November 2. Tipton won his first election in 2002 following a long career in law enforcement and has served as Justice of the Peace for the Flatonia precinct since then.
