La Grange High School multi-sport star Emily Magness signed a scholarship agreement Friday to play collegiate volleyball for Wharton County Junior College. Magness has been a starter for the Lady Leps volleyball team each of the last three seasons.

McKenna Lynn Sodolak, daughter of Emil and Mendee Sodolak of Round Top, received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in 4-8 English Language Arts and Social Studies.

Twice a year, Sutherlands holds a drawing for a $5,000 shopping spree for customers. Every store draws three names for a $25, $50 and $100 gift card. All stores send those entries in for a chance to win a $5,000 shopping spree. This Fall, one of La Grange Sutherlands customers won.

Rebecca Anne Proske graduated on Dec. 16, 2017, from Texas A&M University in College Station. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Sports Conditioning and minors in Psychology and Coaching. She is the daughter of Chris and Emma Proske of La Grange.
