The Ellinger Hermann Sons Life had their Christmas party on Dec. 9 at the Ellinger C of C Hall. Jerry Krenek, Secretary/ treasurer welcomed those in attendance. Krenek then introduced Elaine Koehl who gave the blessing before a delicious meal.

Chloe and Phoebe Ritch used their birthday celebration to help out the Gardenia Janssen Animal Shelter in La Grange. Chloe, who turned 11 years old and Phoebe, who turned 9 years old, asked for people to donate to the animal shelter in lieu of gifts.

Recently the Schulenburg 4-H members visited the Schulenburg Regency Nursing Centers prior to their annual Christmas party to spread holiday cheer. The members walked the halls caroling Christmas songs and sang special requests from residents. Several of the 4H parents also joined in.
