The fields were too wet to play in Navasota Thursday so a scheduled road game became a home contest for the La Grange baseball team. And the Leps made the most of the opportunity.

Thursday’s 5-4 victory by the La Grange softball team over Navasota was one of the closest district games the Lady Leps have had in years. But it was still a win, and keeps a remarkable streak of district dominance going for the La Grange girls.

The La Grange Lady Leps won their 22nd consecutive game of the season in a 15-0 victory at Smithville Tuesday. Missy Zoch hurled a complete game two-hitter for the Lady Leps (22- 1). Offensively, the La Grange girls were led by Hatti Moore, who had three hits.

Monday Round Top- Carmine senior Brittany Hohlt held her signing ceremony as she inked a scholarship deal to play volleyball for Southwestern University in Georgetown.

The La Grange baseball team lost at home to Troy 5-4 Tuesday, despite a multi-hit game from Austin Colon and strong relief pitching by Carson Svrcek. Wednesday the Leps travelled to Taylor and lost to the Ducks 2-0.
