On Saturday Oct. 21, the La Grange High School Mighty Leopard Band earned a 1st division rating at the UIL Region 18/26 Marching Contest at Giddings High School. This is the first time since 2014 that the band earned this distinction.

Steel Magnolias is a 1987 play by Robert Harling. It will premier in a local production at the La Grange Casino Hall Nov. 2-5. It is the third play produced by the Fayette County Community Theater during its first year. The Nov. 2 performance is a benefit for Second Chance Emporium.
