Steve Gooding of San Antonio climbed up the 60-foot flag pole at the La Grange Post Office on Friday, Oct. 27, to apply a fresh coat of paint. Gooding shimmied his way up and down the pole using a set of stirrups and a strap.

The La Grange Art Stroll takes place Thursday, Nov. 9, around the Square in La Grange. Twenty-three merchants around the Square will host artists and musicians for an evening of fun and shopping.
