A 17-year-old female is safe at home in La Grange after allegedly working as an underage prostitute in the Houston area last week. Authorities are withholding the teen’s name.

It’s fruitcake season again at Lukas Bakery in La Grange and it’s also the 70th anniversary of Lukas family ownership of the little bakery on the square.
What’s worse: cashing thousands of dollars worth of fraudulent checks or using a fake ID belonging to a felon with a parole violation warrant to cash those checks?

Andrew “Andy” Berger has announced his candidacy for Justice of the Peace Pct. 1.
Berger was born and raised in La Grange, graduated from La Grange High School in 2003 and attended Blinn College. He successfully went on to graduate from the Texas A&M -TEEX Police Academy in Bryan.
