Four La Grange residents died in a two-car head-on collision Sunday.
The accident occured on State Highway 159, just outside the city limits at 11:47 a.m. and claimed the lives of Sherry Williams, 26, DeMarkkus Johnson, 25, Danielle Williams, 3, and Juan Benavidez, 48.

The Day Camp program at Camp Lone Star enjoyed welcoming three trained Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dogs on Wednesday, June 21. Phoebe and Pax (Fort Worth), and Abner (Austin) are all part of the Lutheran Church Charities Comfort Dog ministries.

Fayette County Veterinary Clinic is going green to save some green. This week workers installed solar panels on the roof of the clinic’s pet boarding facility, The Retreat at Fayette County Veterinary Clinic, which opened about a year ago.

Newly appointed Czech Republic Ambassador to the United States Hynek Kmonicek and his wife Indira Gumarova were welcomed to the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center in La Grange on Saturday. A nice crowd and reception was enjoyed by all who attended to meet and greet the Ambassador.
