La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports that Tuesday at about 12:55 p.m. he noticed a man urinating in public.
When Gilbreath approached the scene in his patrol vehicle the suspect, Mark McKenzie, 36, of La Grange fled on foot towards the Guadalupe St. area and into a backyard.

A large piece of equipment being hauled on SH 71 through La Grange caused some traffic delays on Wednesday afternoon. A small army of workers accompanied the rig to lift power lines and control traffic while the convoy lumbered down the road.
