J.D Tohill, below, manager of Sammy’s Sports Bar which is going in across from Murphy USA on west SH 71, said they expect to open by mid-May with “hot wings, burgers, beer and a full bar.” Hibbett Sports opened up in the Shopping Center about three months ago.

This past Saturday the Texas German Society (TGS) held its statewide, annual convention at the KC Hall in La Grange. By unanimous vote the 333 members elected our own Georg Ulbrich state president. Ulbrich is the current TGS Fayette County Chapter president as well.
