The La Grange Education Support Program Foundation will be able to purchase a new scoreboard for the school district’s high school football stadium, thanks to a $20,000 community development grant from the Lower Colorado River Authority and the City of La Grange.

By ANDY BEHLEN Fayette County Commissioners Court unanimously approved a forfeiture revenue sharing agreement between the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and the Sheriff’s Department in Lamar County, Georgia. The agreement stems from a training partnership between the two agencies.

By ANDY BEHLEN Brasher Motor Company of Weimar announced this week they are not buying Brasher-Gunn, Inc. from their cousins in La Grange, despite earlier reports. Owner Tommy Brasher of Brasher Motor Company in Weimar declined to comment further on the failed acquisition.
