Tropical Storm Bill caused quite a mess as it blew through Fayette County Tuesday night, with nearly 40 mph wind gusts. The storm dumped three to five inches of rain across the area. No one reported any injuries related to the storm, according to Fayette County EMS Director Sharon Muzny.

County commissioners began the planning process for a new Fayette County EMS headquarters at a special session Monday. EMS director Sharon Muzny told commissioners that her staff is using “every nook and cranny,” of the current offices and training facility at 750 E. Camp St. in La Grange.
