The Fayette County Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo and Bull Blow Out is right around the corner on August 7-9 in La Grange. The pre-rodeo fun kicks off with the FCSP County Team Roping on Sunday August 2 at 7 p.m. and the FCSP Royalty Queen and Princess Competition on Monday August 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Folks in the cattle business in Fayette County shouldn’t have to worry about having enough hay this winter. Across the county, tractors and balers have been busy bringing in one of the heaviest hay crops in recent years.

Before popular Texas musician Jack Ingram left La Grange last week after wrapping up the shooting of his short film in and around Cottonwood Inn Motel (above), he made a little time to thank the crew and locals who helped out.
