Mary “Charlene” Rightmer Seale went to her heavenly home on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017. She was born on July 6, 1928, in Muldoon to Lois Odel Syler Rightmer and Charlie Horace Rightmer. Her early years were spent in Muldoon, then she moved to Houston where she met her husband, Billy Sydney Seale.

Joseph Charles Hild of La Grange was born in Baltimore, Md. on Feb. 21, 1923 to Joseph Conrad Hild and Anne Spahn Hild. He died at home with loving family by his bedside on Sept. 21, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marian Oxley. Visitation was held on Sunday, Sept.

Blanche Allbritton Royall Gore, 96, of Round Top died- Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017. Blanche was born on March 3, 1921 in Houston. She grew up working in the business founded in 1906 by her parents, Luther and Lois Allbritton, Allbritton’s Cafeterias (1906-1996). She attended Austin High School.

Sandra “MiMi” Wells Welsh, entered in Heaven to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Sept. 11, 2017. Sandra is predeceased by her mother, Rebecca Craig Wells, her father, William Stone “Red” Wells, and brother, William E. “Billy” Wells. Sandra is survived by her husband, Sam, of 42 years.

Arthur Siptak died Sept. 21, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born on Dec. 17, 1939 to Alfred and Garda (Eichler) Siptak. Arthur was baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top. Arthur married Anna Jean Kneip on April 6, 1960 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warrenton.

James Alvin Hicks, 94, of La Grange, formerly of Boerne, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, in La Grange. James Alvin was born Jan. 23, 1923, in Utopia, Texas, to Junius “J.A.” and Sara (Jenkins) Hicks. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting deer, turkey, and squirrels.

Lillie Mae Slavik Burnside, 76, died at her home in La Grange on Monday, Sept. 18, 2017. She was born in Fayetteville on Dec. 14, 1940, the daughter of Jerry and Lillie Stolar Slavik. She graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1959 and married Paul L. Burnside, Jr. in Fayetteville on Sept.

Peggy Marie (Johnson) Fuentes, 61, died on Sept. 19, 2017. She was born on Nov. 4, 1955 in Freeport to Kittie and Roy Dale Johnson. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She devoted her life to helping others when in need.

Mabel Ruth (Niemeyer) Schielack of Park Community, Fayetteville, was born on May 26, 1927 in Fayette County. She was the daughter of Edwin and Helen (Koenig) Niemeyer. On April 9, 1949, she married Jesse L. Schielack in Atlanta, Ga. Jesse was stationed there while serving in the US Army.
