The NRA Foundation has awarded the Texas Heroes Museum a grant totaling $3,000.
“We are very excited about the new museum and its theme of honoring Texas Heroes,” said Dennis Brower, “and pleased that the NRA is making an investment in our community.”

Clint Taylor IV graduated from The University of Texas Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas with a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics. The commencement exercises were held on Thursday, June 1 at 7 p.m.

On June 12, a regular meeting of the Court Queen of the Holy Rosary No. 2282 was called to order by Regent Dianna Kallus in the Hostyn Dining Hall. The meeting was opened with the CDA prayer and pledges to the American and Texas flags. Eighteen members and three visitors were present.

This past weekend, the Texas Rural Education Association honored Holly Krebs from Fayetteville ISD as its 2017 Teacher of the Year. The association, which promotes and supports rural schools, overwhelmingly chose Krebs from this year’s outstanding group of nominees.
