Fayette County Record contributor Paul “Tex” Parker finally got a haircut. Tex was in Houston on Tuesday, Jan. 12, and stopped by Memorial Barbershop for a trim by one of the most esteemed barbers in the state, Norman B. Lee, right, a former state and national men’s hairstyling champion.

Trey and Melissa Barton of Richmond, announce the birth of their son, Richard Lee Barton IV “Rix,” born on Dec. 14 at 4:34 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches. He was welcomed home by sisters Jackie (9) and Camryn (6 1/2).
