The number of officially confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus remains at 13. That number has not changed in nearly a week and not risen since April 3.

The Fayette County Office of Emergency Management released a new Fayette County Coronavirus Tracker on its website this week. The tracker lists the number of cases in each commissioner precinct, which provides a closer look at the virus’ spread throughout the county.
Fayette County Judge Joe Weber signed an order closing hotels and other lodging establishments in the county to visitors in an effort to stem the spread of COVID-19 virus. The order goes into effect at noon today, Tuesday, April 7.
