Adren Pilger, superintendent of Round Top-Carmine ISD since 2014, is retiring. His replacement is current RTC high school principal Brandon Schovajsa, who will continue as principal and superintendent until a new principal can be hired.

Main Street La Grange now has a room in the Casino Building dedicated to museum quality interpretive panels illustrating the County’s various historical epochs.
The panels were created by Custom Creation of Austin using archival materials from local museums.

There’s a new food truck in La Grange specializing in a Central American food item called a pupusa. Papusas Los Primos is located at 942 E. Travis just north of Golden Crisp Fried Chicken. Carolina Rodriguez is the resident cook.

HEB shoppers in La Grange may see a few more employees in the store especially in the mornings over the next three to four weeks, according to unit director Tinnie Gillard.
Up to 40 corporate team members each day will be in the store creating what could be called an extreme makeover.
