Fayette County resident Harriet Hemmil was in stable condition at St. David’s Hospital- South Tuesday morning after her 1994 Ford Ranger flipped three times and landed upsidedown on SH 237 in front of Round Top Farm & Ranch Monday at 10:45 a.m.

In addition to other cultural distinctions, Festival Hill in Round Top is home to an impressive collection of books and manuscripts. Until now, these treasures have been stored in a library space so small that access by staff has been cumbersome and access by scholars even more so.

Monroe Schubert was the pitmaster at Prause’s Meat Market for over 30 years. He died last Saturday, but is fondly remebered by his coworkers at Prause's.
