Lee County resident and egg artist Deborah Grassel was chosen by the American Egg Board in Chicago to design an egg for First Lady Melania Trump.
Grassel, a 21 year resident of Manheim, has designed and created the 41st commemorative egg for the White House, a singular honor.

La Grange Lanes, the 16- lane bowling alley at 385 N. Main Street has been sold to a pair of investors who plan to close the La Grange landmark by May 31.

The Lewis-Wagner House is the signature structure at the Winedale Historical Complex, near Round Top. Purchased and restored by Ima Hogg in the 1960s, the house and other structures are now owned and curated by the Briscoe Center for American History at the University of Texas at Austin.
