La Grange City Council interviewed candidates for the police chief position on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 14 and 15, but has not yet reached a decision. Council scheduled two more meetings on Nov. 21 and 28 for more interviews and deliberation.

The La Grange City Council has called a special meeting for Tuesday Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers at 155 E. Colorado Street.

Flatonia City Council accepted the resignation of Flatonia Police Chief Mike Noak on Tuesday, Nov. 8. City Manager Mark McLaughlin said Noak’s resignation will be effective on January 3, 2017. McLaughlin said Noak cited personal reasons for the resignation.
