La Grange missed out on an opportunity to pull into a first place tie in the district baseball standings with Giddings Tuesday as the Leps lost 9-2 on the road to the Buffaloes.

The La Grange boys and girls soccer teams both lost in the first round of the 4A playoffs last week.
The Lady Leps lost to Burnet 7-2 Friday in Pflugerville. Lexi Jones scored both goals for the La Grange girls, getting an assist from Desiree Yanis on one of those.

The La Grange softball team had a Spring Break to remember as they opened up district play in strong fashion, downing Smithville Tuesday 16-2 on the road before blasting Navasota 10-1 Thursday afternoon at home.

The La Grange softball team got district play off on a strong note, downing Smithville on the road Tuesday night 16-2.
Elana Ledwik and Raeley Polasek each had three hits in that game. Lady Leps pitcher Darby Fitzpatrick struck out nine and helped her own cause with four RBIs.

The La Grange baseball team improved to 7-2- 1 overall and 1-1 in district with a 5-0 victory over Smithville on the road Tuesday. Lep sophomore starting pitcher Mason Muras allowed just two hits and struck out nine. La Grange was set to host Navasota at 2 p.m.
