The playoff-bound La Grange girls basketball team will play Burnet on Tuesday, February 14 at Pflugerville Hendrickson for the bi-district title. The time will be at 6:30 p.m. if one game or 6:00 if it’s a double-header.

Lady Leps Fall 3-0 to Buffaloes
The La Grange boys soccer team pulled off a dramatic victory over Giddings Friday as Jose De La Cruz’s last minute goal broke a 1-1 tie to vault the Leps to a 2-1 victory.

Members of the Tommy Taylor family of La Grange will have a little extra to root for in Sunday’s Super Bowl game.
Taylor’s great nephew LaAdrian Waddle, a former Columbus High School star, is a back-up offensive lineman for the New England Patriots.

The five seniors on the La Grange girls basketball team made their final game at Lep Gym a memorable one.
The Lady Leps outscored Caldwell 23-0 in the third quarter to break open a close game in what ended up being a 60-24 La Grange victory.

What a start it was to district play Friday for the La Grange girls soccer team as they blasted Gonzales 4-0 at Leopard Stadium.
“It’s a good feeling,” said La Grange’s Estela Cabrera, who scored two of the La Grange goals. “Gonzales is a good team. Last year we tied them.”

There was no easing into district play for the La Grange boys soccer team, as they faced the challenge of perennial district title contender Gonzales in Friday’s district opener.
And Gonzales was as good as advertised, downing the Leps 3-0 .
