Marie (Scheu) Zikuhr, 65, of Katy, peacefully slipped away with her loved ones by her side on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018. Marie was born in Houston on Nov. 8, 1953, the daughter of E.L. Robert and Ann (Ely) Scheu. George Zikuhr met Marie when they were twelve years old and became soul mates.

Jerome J. Kalisek, 89, of McHenry, Ill., and formerly of Texas, died on Nov. 19, 2018, at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital. He was born to Jim and Ella (Holly) Kalisek on Aug. 21, 1929 in West Point.

Victor Calvin Bohot, 89, of La Grange, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2018.
Victor was born in Serbin on Oct. 9, 1929, the son of Gerhard Paul Bohot and Hulda Marie (Lorenz) Bohot. He married Elva Ruth Bunte on Oct. 9, 1950 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Cass Eugene “Gene” Adcox, Sr., 75, of La Grange, died Nov. 21, 2018 in La Grange.
A celebration of life was held from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2018 at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Private services will be held at a later date.

Noel B. Searle, MD passed away peacefully in his sleep at his residence in LaFayette, La. on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018. He was 89 years old.
Noel was preceded in death by his bride of almost 60 years, Beverly Jane Dykes Searle.

Carlos Dale Speck III, 76, of La Grange, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2018. Dale was born in Walter Reed Hospital, Washington, DC, on Oct. 2, 1942, the son of Carlos Dale Speck, Jr. and Marie Louise (Surgi) Speck. Dale served in the US Navy. He worked in Houston for IBM.
